Durham Big Sing: Programme
Scroll down to view
Durham Big Sing offers a varied programme of singing workshops. Each event is booked separately so that singers can tailor their festival experience to suit them. The headline events Festival of Voices and Festival of Choirs have been deliberately spread across two weekends to give maximum opportunity for people to fit in attendance around their day to day lives. As events are confirmed they will be added to the programme below. Register your interest to receive updates when events are announced.
Who can take part?
Durham Big Sing welcomes adult singers of all abilities and musical tastes. You don't need any previous experience as the mix of voices is one of the magical aspects of the festival; with complete beginners singing alongside more confident voices. Some of the events will also be open to accompanied young people but the focus of the festival is on adults.
Are the events accessible?
Durham Big Sing strives to include everyone and aims to break down barriers to taking part. Our inclusive, non-competitive events offer additional support to those with a wide range of accessibility needs, including those with limited mobility or those requiring seating at both indoor & outdoor locations.
