Our brand-new project, Rainbow Voices, will be running between March and August 2021. Over this time, there will be lots of ways to reflect, reconnect & rebuild in life after lockdown, filling the windows of our villages with colourful crafts & sending messages of hope to those who need it most in our community.

Voices of the Rainbow - Singing for Adults
Phase 1 - Bring Back the Rainbow: 1,000 FREE Rainbow Craft Envelopes will be available to the residents, businesses & community groups of Zone 2 in March 2021.
Phase 2 - Rainbow Activity Packs: 1,000 FREE Rainbow Activity Packs available to residents most in need in our funded Zones 3 - 6 in June 2021.

Voices of the Rainbow:
Online Singing for Adults
Join us as we introduce our new singing programme of fun, heart-warming songs that will put a smile on your face as part of the Rainbow Voices Project. Our weekly online singing for adults runs every Tuesday. We look forward to moving to in-person sessions when regulations allow.

Pamper yourself for an evening and join us in ‘The Serenity Room’ for our special Midsummer chilled-out ‘singing spa’ experience.
Rainbow Craft Envelopes
Bring back the Rainbow with 6 bright and colourful activities inside our Rainbow Craft Envelopes. They are packed full of simple but effective crafts that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike, and you can use your creations to fill your window with colour.

Phase 1
Zone 2 - March 2021
1,000 FREE Rainbow Craft Envelopes will be available to the residents, businesses & community groups of our funded Zone 2 - West Rainton & Leamside, Pittington & Littletown, Sherburn & Shadforth.
Each envelope contains 5 easy crafts to ‘bring back the rainbow’ and fill the windows of our villages with colour. Plus a greetings card to send on with a message of hope to local people who may be lonely or need cheering up.
Phase 2
Zones 3 - 6 - June 2021
1,000 FREE Rainbow Activity Packs available to residents most in need in our funded Zones 3 - 6. We will be working with local community organisations to get the packs to people most affected by COVID-19, particularly those with increased risk of loneliness or mental health issues. A limited number will also be available for individual nominations via our website.
Phase 3
Sunderland Coalfields
Thanks to funding from Sunderland City Council, the project will also be expanding to specific parts of the Coalfield Area of Sunderland.
